Waitaha Artistic Roller Skating Club
We are a dedicated club that focuses on Artistic Roller Skating at both recreational and performance levels, based at the Lincoln Event Centre and skate every Sunday.
In 2025, we will offer two pathways for skaters to follow:

KiwiSkate Class (Recreational)

KiwiSkate Class
This class is designed for skaters who want to develop their skills and build confidence on skates. KiwiSkate teaches the fundamentals of roller skating and follows the nationally recognised Learn to Skate programme across New Zealand.
The class levels within KiwiSkate are Early Birds (Level 1), Tūi (Level 2 & 3), Kererū (Level 4 & 5), Moa (Level 6/Gold).

Whetū Class
An extension of the KiwiSkate class, Whetū Class enables skaters to learn a two-minute routine set to music. This routine can be performed at competitions or showcased during our biannual skating shows (held in June and November). Skaters will continue to learn the appropriate level class content, with the addition of a personalised routine and a music cut for each skater.
